Medford Public Schools is a caring educational partnership of school, family and community designed to ensure all students are afforded a safe and healthy learning environment to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to reach their full academic and personal potential. This partnership is dedicated to providing all students with a 21st-century education that will enable them to be life-long learners and contributors to a diverse and rapidly changing world. 

The Medford Public Schools Strategic Plan, approved by the Medford School Committee in the spring of 2021, outlines the objectives and initiatives to be attained by administrators, educators and staff of MPS.  Framed on the four foundational pillars of Achievement, Collaboration, Equity and Support, the Strategic Plan will evolve to meet the developing challenges affecting our students as well as to take advantage of the innovations in the field of education. Working in partnership with the Medford School Committee to meet these common goals, MPS is dedicated to providing all students with an exceptional education that will enable them to be  contributors to a diverse and dynamic society.
