Five Students Invited to Play in Northeast District Junior Festival

Congratulations to the following Medford Public Schools students for being selected to perform in the Northeastern District Junior Festival:

• Elijah Adamek, Grade 8, String Bass
• Saffron Jacobs, Grade 8, Violin
• Eliana Lam, Grade 9, Violin
• Wesley Kuang, Grade 8, Cello
• Daniel Ransley, Grade 8, Cello

Out of nearly 700 auditionees across the region, these musician students were selected for this highly competitive festival. The event will feature performances of the concert band, jazz band, orchestra, and chorus. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 15, at Galvin Middle School in Wakefield, MA.

• 10:30 AM: Orchestra & Band
• 12:30 PM: Jazz Band & Chorus
