What's a Transition Fair? It is an event designed to provide students/families/guardians and professionals with information about community-based services for adults with disabilities.
What type of services will the 25+ exhibitors represent?
- Support with Independent Living Skills
- Vocational/Job Training and Support
- Adapted Education Programs
- Recreational Opportunities
- Supported Housing
Who should attend? This event is FREE and OPEN to all members of Malden, Medford, and surrounding communities. Students (ages 14 -22 who receive special education services through an IEP), along with their families, as well as professionals, are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event exhibitors serve a very specific population of adults with disabilities, including:
- Autism
- Developmental Disabilities
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Emotional Disabilities
