Unified Flag Football Game: Medford vs. Malden
The first ever, Unified Flag Football Game was played on November 16 between the Medford Mustangs Unified Team and the Malden Golden Tornados Unified Team at McDonald Stadium in Malden to kick off the Thanksgiving Day festivities The teams played to a 7-7 tie.
Both the Medford & Malden football teams played and helped to coach their respective teams, while both the Medford and Malden cheerleaders kept the fans cheering in the stands.
The Medford-Malden Thanksgiving Day Game is the third longest rivalry in the United States. The 135th game will be played at Fenway Park, Tuesday, November 22nd at 7:30 PM.
