III. MSBA Accelerated Repair Statements of Interest (SOI) - Dr. Peter J. Cushing, Assistant Superintendent
- Concerning the district’s intention to submit Statements of Interest to the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Accelerated Program on behalf of the Roberts, the Missituk, and the Brooks Elementary Schools, the Medford School Committee is hereby asked to approve three separate motions thereby authorizing the administration to formally submit the Statements of Interest for the schools listed below under “Priority 5 - Replacement, renovation or modernization of school facility systems, such as roofs, windows, boilers, heating and ventilation systems, to increase energy conservation and decrease energy related costs in a school facility.”
- Roberts Elementary School - Roof and Heat Pump
- Missituk Elementary School - Roof and Heat Pump
- Brooks Elementary School - Roof and Heat Pump
IV. FY Budget Areas of Chapter 70, Revolving Funds, Enrollment Projections and Class Size - Mr. Gerry McCue, Budget Analyst
V. Executive Session
Upon a Motion to enter into executive session pursuant to M. G.L. c. 30A §21(a).
Executive session of the Medford School Committee pursuant to G.L. c. 30A §21(a) to conduct a strategy session on the basis that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining positions of the Medford School Committee. Specifically, the Medford School Committee will be discussing ongoing collective bargaining negotiations with Administrators and the Medford Teachers Association.
The Medford School Committee will not reconvene in public session after the Executive Session.
