I. Roll Call of Members and Student Representatives

II. As approved at the April 6, 2026 Regular School Committee Meeting:

2026-09 Offered by Member Reinfeld 

WHEREAS members of the MPS community have provided input into the strategic planning process via survey and focus groups; and 

WHEREAS the Medford School Committee has identified a permanent Superintendent for the district; and 

WHEREAS the Medford Comprehensive High School Building Committee has submitted its educational plan to the Massachusetts School Building Authority; and 

WHEREAS the district is convening a dedicated task force to address overcrowding at the elementary levels and examine the viability of a 5/6 and 7/8 model for MPS middle schools; 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the strategic planning subcommittee shall meet to establish the process, deliverables, and timeline for the development and review of the community-informed strategic plan.
