Student Groups Honored at 12.16 Medford School Committee Meeting

Congratulations to all students who were honored at the Dec. 16 Twentieth Regular Meeting of the Medford School Committee!

The meeting began with a fabulous performance by Medford High School String Orchestra students and the MPS Middle School String Ensemble. It was then time to celebrate our student athletes for their terrific fall seasons, including the GBL champion Medford Mustang Football team, the GBL champion Boys' Golf team and all High School Fall Sports MVP's.

The recognition was also extended to the award-winning Mustang Marching Band, who earlier this fall won the Division 2 NESBA Championship for the 2nd year in a row! Their fantastic year will continue this winter during their percussion and winter guard performances, with further appearances at various community events.

Lastly, Kelsey, the NEADS-certified assistance dog for MPS, was introduced to The Committee as Ms. Schulman gave an update on all of Kelsey's great work so far. MPS students and staff have been so excited to see Kelsey across Medford Public Schools!
