Facilities

The Facilities Department of the Medford Public Schools is charged with overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and other custodial duties of the district’s facilities and campuses. With day and night custodians assigned to each MPS school as well as a central carpentry staff, the Facilities team works to ensure that all learning environments are safe, clean, and ready for educational activities to occur every day in the Medford Public Schools. The primary purpose and goal of the Facilities Department is to ensure that the physical upkeep of the district’s facilities is consistent with the Medford community’s expectations for their schools and that all learning spaces are conducive to high-quality teaching and learning.
