March is National Nutrition Month - Celebrate by adding more fruits and vegetables to your family’s day. Here are a few reasons why:

  • Color & Texture: Fruits and veggies add color, texture...and appeal...to your plate.
  • Convenience: Fruits and vegetables are nutritious in any form - fresh, frozen, canned, and dried
  • Fiber: They provide fiber that helps fill you up and keeps your digestive system happy
  • Low in Calories: These items are naturally low in calories and full of vitamins and minerals
  • May Reduce Disease Risk: Eating plenty of fruits and veggies may help reduce the risk of many diseases; including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and some cancers.

Fruits & Vegetables are Nutritious & Delicious!
