Human Resources and Finance

The Office of Finance  is responsible for all budgetary and fiscal management of the Medford Public Schools. They oversee the the development and maintenance of the district’s annual operating budget, the receipt and expenditure of external funds (i.e. grants), payroll functions, and all district procurement practices. 

The Office of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all hiring, onboarding, and offboarding staff members. This includes teachers, administrators and support staff staff. They manage employee records, benefits and ensure compliance with certifications and labor laws. The MPS HR department also handles staff development, evaluations, and labor relations to maintain a productive and supportive work environment.
