Summer Music Intensive Program - Strings

We’re thrilled to announce a fresh, rebranded Music Intensive Program for students entering grades 5 through 8! This summer, join us for a week-long STRINGS camp, where young musicians can hone their skills, explore new techniques, and have fun making music together!

Each section is capped at 25 students, please sign up early to ensure your spot!

• August 4-8, 2025

Location

• Medford High School

Schedule

• Grades 5 & 6: 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• Grades 7 & 8: 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

What to Bring

Students must bring their own instrument (or rental). Our school partners with David French Music for instrument rentals—families can secure a rental for the school year early to have it in time for camp. More details will be provided as the camp approaches.

Snack will be provided, but students can bring an allergy friendly snack if preferred. Student can bring a water bottle as well. 

Who Can Join

• Current String students looking to sharpen their skills

• Participants must have one year prior experience. Students with prior experience, who wish to switch to cello or viola are welcome to sign up.

• The cost of camp is $100
