Health Care Policies

Dear Kids’ Corner Parents,

Now that winter is approaching, we are asking all parents to adhere to the following policies. These policies are put in place for the health and well being of children, families and staff. Please follow them carefully. Please do not bring your child in if they have any of the following symptoms.

If your child has been ill please keep him/her home until:

- he/she is fever free for 24 hours without Tylenol; if your child has a fever in the morning, please do not bring him/her to school even if the fever goes down with Tylenol

- he/she has a solid bowel movement, when at home for a stomach virus

- he/she has not vomited for 24 hours

- antibiotic has been administered for 24 hours (or doctor’s note stating your child is not contagious)

- nasal discharge is clear rather than green

- If your child develops a rash they can return with a doctor’s note stating they are not contagious

Thank you for following these policies. We cannot make exceptions because the health of others depends on everyone’s cooperation.

You will be asked to take your child home if your child develops any of these symptoms during the day.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely, Linda Selinger

Kids’ Corner Food from Home Policy

To all:

With the holiday season upon us I want to clarify the policy.  Although it is done with kindness and generosity of spirit we cannot accept food donations for the children without prior written consent from parents/guardians.  As always Staff donations are permitted and welcome!  Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions.
