MAPS Summer Program
We are thrilled to share that our 2025 Medford Afterschool Program Summer (MAPS) experience has been finalized and we are ready for you to register!
The MAPS program offers full-day and extended care options* for MPS students, with highlights about the program include:
- Designed to reduce or prevent significant “summer slide”
- Engages students in weekly thematic activities and projects that enhance both academics and exploration
- Daily Schedule includes dedicated time for summer academic activities such as the summer reading log and math calendar.
- Activities & projects developed in collaboration with district curriculum directors for Mathematics, Humanities, and Science, and the Medford Public Library
- Hosted at the Brooks Elementary School
- Held in four one-week sessions from July 7 - August 1
- Runs from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., with extended care options available beginning at 8 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
- Staffed by Afterschool employees and high school students.
- Lunch will be provided for all participants through the Food Services Summer Food Service Program

Where: Brooks Elementary Schools
When:
- Week 1: July 7 - 11
- Week 2: July 14 - 18
- Week 3: July 21 - 25
- Week 4: July 28 - Aug. 1
Cost: $350 per week
- $15 per hour for extended care (Held from 8-9 a.m. & 3-4 p.m.)
Registration & Payment
