Bus Information

Medford Public Schools provides yellow bus transportation for students in grades K - 5 living beyond a 1-mile radius and students in grades 6 - 8 beyond a 2-mile radius for free.  All areas and bus stops, regardless of distance from school are evaluated for safety purposes and therefore there are a few exemptions to these guidelines.

2026/27 Bus Signups

Please use the forms below if you have not yet signed up for 2026/27 bus transportation:

Brooks | McGlynn Elementary | Missituk | Roberts | Middle Schools

As a reminder, per district policy elementary school students are eligible to ride the bus if they live more than 1 Mile away from the school and middle school students are eligible to ride the bus if they live more than 2 Miles away from school. Additionally, afternoon bus riders in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade must be met by a caregiver.

MBTA and Yellow Bus Information for MHS Students

MBTA and Yellow Buses provide transportation to Medford High School.  Information about both types of buses is available on the MHS Bus Information and Schedules page.

Lost and Found

Drivers hold onto lost items for 1-2 days. If your student loses an item on the bus, ask the driver if they have found it, or contact the bus companies directly for help: Eastern Bus Company (big yellow bus), 781.395.2515 or the vans.
