Bus Information
Medford Public Schools provides yellow bus transportation for students in grades K - 5 living beyond a 1-mile radius and students in grades 6 - 8 beyond a 2-mile radius for free. All areas and bus stops, regardless of distance from school are evaluated for safety purposes and therefore there are a few exemptions to these guidelines.
2025/26 Bus Signups
Bussing sign-ups through the district's Google Forms are now closed. If you are still in need to register for transportation, reach out to your school Assistant Principal or the transportation department directly . Any transportation changes for families can be made as needed throughout the year by contacting your school's Assistant Principal.

MBTA and Yellow Bus Information for MHS Students
MBTA and Yellow Buses provide transportation to Medford High School. Information about both types of buses is available on the MHS Bus Information and Schedules page.

Lost and Found
Drivers hold onto lost items for 1-2 days. If your student loses an item on the bus, ask the driver if they have found it, or contact the bus companies directly for help: Eastern Bus Company (big yellow bus), 781.395.2515 or the vans.
